The whole jar smells wonderfully aromatic—the mustard and coriander really come through. I used it for a batch of bread-and-butter pickles and the flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sharp.

The bay leaves and cassia give this blend a much deeper, more aromatic brine than the standard grocery store mix. My first batch of pickled eggs came out with a perfect, complex tang without being overpowering.
