The color is a deep, natural green that held up beautifully in my buttercream. It tastes very neutral, just a slight sweetness, which is exactly what I wanted for a subtle cake finish.

The spirulina extract gives these sprinkles a true, earthy dark green that doesn't fade into the icing. I used them on a St. Patrick's Day cake and they held their color beautifully without bleeding.

I've been through so many "natural" sprinkles that end up looking washed out, but these actually hold a deep rich green on the cupcakes. They're made with vegetable juice and spirulina extract, and they didn't bleed or fade into the frosting at all.
