The molasses and licorice combo hits that old-fashioned black licorice taste I remember from childhood, and the chewy center stays soft without getting sticky. I finished the whole bag in three days, which probably says enough.

I was worried these would be too soft or sticky, but the gelatin gives them a firm chew that lasts a good while. That bees wax coating keeps them from melting together in my bag, which is a nice touch.

The molasses base gives these a deeper, almost caramel note instead of that sharp salty bite some licorice has. The bees wax glaze keeps them from getting sticky in the bag, which I appreciated after leaving a few in my car all afternoon.
