I forgot how much I love these little rolls — the tangy citric acid hit is way more sour than I remembered as a kid. Orange and pink are still the best ones, and somehow I'm 34 and still sorting them by color before eating.

The chalky texture is exactly what I want in a candy like this, and the little cellophane roll makes it easy to portion out a few at a time. I've been buying these since I was a kid and the flavor still holds up.

I always keep a roll in my bag for a quick sugar boost, and the slight sour kick from the citric acid makes them way more satisfying than just plain sweet tablets.
