David ★★★★★

Baking cookies and cakes every weekend was burning through those tiny expensive bottles, so this 16 oz jug is a relief. It's dark and a little goes a long way, so I use less than I did with the clear stuff. Taste comes through fine in my chocolate chip batches.

I was skeptical about an imitation vanilla, but this 16 oz bottle has completely won me over for everyday baking. The flavor holds up well in cookies and quick breads, and honestly for the price I can be generous with it without wincing. It's become a permanent fixture in my pantry.

Michael ★★★★★

I go through a lot of vanilla when baking for the holidays, so the dark color here is a nice bonus since it tints my custards and ice cream bases without needing extra. Flavor holds up fine in cookies and cakes, and it's cheap enough that I don't feel bad pouring generously.
