I was pleasantly surprised by the soft, chewy texture from the wheat flour and palm oil — much better than the dry, hard licorice I've had before. The coconut in the middle adds a nice subtle sweetness that balances the molasses perfectly.

The molasses and glucose syrup give these a proper old-school chew that actually lasts, and the desiccated coconut adds just the right texture contrast. I've already torn through half the bag in one sitting—the gelatin gives them that satisfying bite without being too tough.
