I was worried the filling would be too runny, but the modified food starch gives it a nice, thick consistency that holds up well in the pie. The peaches taste genuinely sweet and not overly artificial, even with the high fructose corn syrup.

The color is a beautiful golden peach, and it has just the right sweetness without being cloying. I used it to make a no-bake cheesecake and the texture set up perfectly.
