شرائح الكرز

These have that firm, chewy texture I remember from the movie theater boxes, and they stay soft instead of turning into a rock in the bag. The cherry flavor is bold and slightly tart, which keeps them from being pure sugar. I finished the whole bag in two sittings and already want more.

The bright red color is exactly what I remember, and the texture has that soft, chewy cornstarch feel that keeps me reaching for another slice. They're simple sugar candy, but sometimes that's all you need.

I forgot how much I missed that artificial cherry flavor — it's sweet and a little tart, exactly like the ones from the movie theater. The sugar coating has a nice crunch before you hit the soft center.
